The Diplôme Approfondi en Langue Française (DALF) is an internationally recognised French language diploma accepted by all French universities and recognised, among other purposes, for the naturalisation process in Quebec. The levels DALF C1 and C2 certify a very high level of proficiency, including spontaneous and fluent communication. The examination assesses listening and reading comprehension as well as written and oral expression. Each DALF examination is offered in two versions: Lettres et Sciences Humaines and Sciences.
