English certificates – briefly explained
Which English certificate is right for me?
That depends on your goal: for studying abroad, IELTS or TOEFL are usually required; at work, Cambridge certificates (FCE, CAE) or TOEIC are common. For a UK visa you need a UKVI SELT. We are happy to advise you.
Do I have to take a preparation course beforehand?
No. You can sit the exam with us without taking a course. If you would like to prepare in a targeted way, you will find suitable preparation courses and one-to-one training with us.
