Points and CEFR level

Each section is scored from 31–68 points; the overall score ranges from 310 to 677 points:

  • 627–677: corresponds to approx. C1
  • 543–626: corresponds to approx. B2
  • 460–542: corresponds to approx. B1
  • 337–459: corresponds to approx. A2
  • 310–336: corresponds to approx. A1

FAQ

What is the difference between TOEFL ITP and iBT?

The TOEFL ITP® is computer-based and tests Listening, Structure and Written Expression and Reading – without Speaking and Writing. The TOEFL iBT® covers all four skills and is more widely recognised.

Will the ITP be recognised by my university?

That depends on the respective institution. Please check in advance whether the TOEFL ITP® is accepted for your intended purpose.

How quickly will I receive my results?

The unofficial result is available immediately after the test, the official result within a few days.

How long is the result valid?

The result is valid for 2 years.
