[ Cross-Cultural Communication – communicate with cultural sensitivity ]
P-06 from the Performance series (B2). In four weeks you'll learn to communicate respectfully and effectively in international settings – recognise differences, avoid misunderstandings and choose tone and style appropriately. Bookable for individual professionals as well as entire teams.

What you'll learn
Politeness and indirect requests
Soften requests (could, might) and phrase them respectfully.
Recognise communication styles
Direct vs. indirect, high/low-context, hierarchy and feedback culture.
Avoid misunderstandings
Clarify intentions, paraphrase and address sensitive topics with care.
Greet and say goodbye
Choose culturally appropriate greetings, small-talk openers and closings.
Team discussion on cultures
Compare experiences and work out both similarities and differences.
Email for an international audience
Adapt tone and directness, choose culturally appropriate phrases and closings.
Compact, practical, measurable
Each sprint comprises four weeks with one unit of 135 minutes each – 12 teaching units in total in a small group of no more than 8 participants. You learn on-site in Frankfurt or live-online, as you prefer. At the end there is a measurable outcome, confirmed by an Eloquia Micro-Certificate.
