Taking and making calls
Standard phrases for greeting, identification and transferring.
Asking for and giving information
Ask deliberately, answer precisely and integrate follow-up questions politely.
Taking messages
Note and pass on name, company, request and call-back number in a structured way.
Politeness and confirming
Polite phrases, active listening, summarising and confirming appointments.
Transferring calls
Clarify the request and connect correctly – or offer a call-back.
Leaving a voicemail
Leave a crisp, complete voicemail: name, reason, request for a call-back.
Typical course tasks
Every unit is communicative and immediately usable in your working day. In small groups you practise realistic phone scenarios with direct feedback.
- Taking and transferring calls – role play: greet, clarify the request, connect correctly or offer a call-back
- Leaving a voicemail – a crisp, complete message with name, reason and a request for a call-back
- Capture and repeat key facts – take down names, numbers and data and repeat them back to confirm
